This Herve Leger Swimsuit Can Be Worn Near Water, Not In Water

Swimsuit season is nearly upon us and, along with the usual selection of reliable one-pieces and tankinis, other, more absurd swimwear is starting to arrive on selling floors.
Like this one from Herve Leger.
The $1,050 cut-out tank suit is bright lavender and orange, made of polyester, nylon, and spandex bandages, and features a halter neck and a hidden zipper. The Net-a-Porter staff suggest it be worn with a Lanvin cuff, Michael Kors shorts, Giles & Brother necklaces, and a Jimmy Choo bag and shoes. That\'s all well and good.
But here\'s the kicker. In the bathing suit description, it says: \"To get the best from your Hervé Léger beachwear we advise you do not wear it in water.\"
Yup, a swimsuit that can be worn near water but shouldn\'t be worn in water. What will they think of next?
